Temple in Chiang Mai
I did this drawing when I was in Thailand last year. This is a temple, or as we say in thai, a wat.
It was a day with nothing special to do or visit in Chiang Mai, in the north of the country, so I wanted to take advantage of the situation and draw a typical construction of the country, and even if it was audacious (because of all the details…), it was really worth it, because we cannot see temples like that in Europe everyday!
The method used this time is the same as usual: a ballpoint pen and without rulers, on a small A5 notepad. In a few days I will show you the coloured version, and if you liked this sketch, I am sure that you are going to love the next version.
